Exciting News: Our Drop-in Clinic is Coming Soon!

At SPACE Uganda, we are always working to bring essential healthcare and rehabilitation services closer to children with disabilities and their families. Many children in rural areas struggle to access medical care, physiotherapy, and assistive devices due to financial constraints and long distances to health facilities.

To bridge this gap, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Drop-in Clinic. This clinic will serve as a safe, accessible space where children with disabilities can receive health check-ups, physiotherapy, assistive devices, nutritional support, and more—all within their own community.

Parents and children will receive

• Children will receive routine medical check-ups, early intervention screenings, and referrals for specialized care.
• Our trained therapists will provide physical rehabilitation and mobility support, helping children gain independence.
• We will assess children’s needs and provide wheelchairs, crutches, braces, and other mobility aids.
• Our team will monitor children’s nutritional needs, provide guidance to parents, and ensure children receive adequate nourishment.
• Parents and caregivers will have access to mental health support, disability awareness training, and peer support groups.
